Associate Service areas: Court Of Protection

Rachel graduated from Newcastle University with a degree in Mandarin and Business, which included a year of study in Shanghai. She then completed the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and the Legal Practice Course (LPC) and joined BHP Law as a trainee solicitor in 2022. Rachel qualified as a solicitor in March 2024 and now specialises in Court of Protection matters, focusing on Property and Affairs. She is committed to supporting vulnerable individuals and their families with clear, compassionate, and practical legal advice.

Rachel has a long-standing relationship with BHP Law, having worked with the firm during school and university holidays since the age of 16. Her familiarity with the firm and its values enhances her ability to deliver trusted, client-focused service.

In addition to her legal work, Rachel is the Apprentice Mentor Lead for Years 1 to 3. Having started her own journey with BHP Law at a young age, she draws on her practical experience to guide and support apprentices in the early stages of their careers. Rachel understands the challenges they face and takes great pride in nurturing their development, helping them grow in confidence and capability within a supportive and encouraging environment.
