Rachel Elliott

Rachel is an Associate Solicitor working across the Dispute Resolution/Employment and Mental Health teams. She has excellent academic credentials including a master’s degree in law.

Rachel trained at The Richmond Partnership in Durham, where she stayed for six years before joining Peter Dunn and Co in Sunderland. Prior to joining the firm Rachel achieved her Mental Health Panel Accreditation allowing her to represent detained patients in their appeals to Mental Health Tribunals.

As a former Duty Solicitor, Rachel has a wealth of experience in Landlord and Tenant work in addition to other Civil Claims such as debt recovery and contentious probate. Rachel’s employment work is predominantly employee-based claims to the Tribunal for unfair dismissal and all aspects of discrimination. She can also assist employers in this regard, or with drafting contracts and policies. A number of Rachel’s successful Tribunal claims have been covered by local news agencies.
