Young Carers Action Day 2022 - Taking Action on Isolation

11th March 2022

Young Carers Action Day (16 March) is an annual event, organised by Carers Trust.

The aim of the day is to raise public awareness of young carers and young adult carers. To highlight the pressures and challenges they face every day, and to recognise the vital contribution they make by caring for their family members and friends.

Young Carers Action Day gives us an opportunity to explore how best to support young carers and signpost helpful resources available.

Each year Carers Trust benefits from widespread coverage on national television and in the last few years #YoungCarersActionDay has gained momentum on social media platforms such as Twitter. The day gives young carers an opportunity to connect with others who face the same struggles and build up a valuable support network.

At BHP Law, our Court of Protection team is extremely grateful to all family members and friends who care for our clients under the Court of Protection. We would like to take this opportunity to signpost some fantastic resources for raising awareness and supporting young carers on a local and national basis.
