BHP Law has been shortlisted in several categories in the Northern Law Awards.

The 8th Northern Law Awards will be presented during a glittering ceremony at St James’ Park, in Newcastle, on 27th June.

BHP Law, established in the early 1800s, has been shortlisted in a range of individual and team awards.

The BHP Law finalists are:

  • Apprentice of the Year – Ellie Phillips
  • Lawyer of the Year – Amanda Adeola (Partner in Family Law) and Ruth Markham (Partner in Serious Injury)
  • Team of the Year, Litigation and Dispute Resolution
  • Team of the Year, Private Client (Court of Protection)
  • Team of the Year, Commercial Property
  • Team of the Year, Residential Property

They are hoping to add to recent honours for the business at the event, with BHP Law’s Jack Collins winning the Trainee/Apprentice of the Year at last year’s awards, and Melanie Morley winning Rising Star the year before.

Managing Partner John Pratt said: “The Northern Law Awards celebrate the depth of talent and achievement in the legal industry across the North of England. To be shortlisted in such a range of categories shows that BHP Law is in robust health, so we are delighted, and wish our finalists the best of luck.”
