Our Residential Conveyancing team is led by Jemma Ebdon, Partner and Licensed Conveyancer. With over 20 years of experience, Jemma has built her career from PA to Partner, demonstrating exceptional dedication and expertise. She handles all aspects of residential conveyancing and is known for her strong relationships with local agents and her loyal client base. Jemma’s calm, knowledgeable approach makes her a reassuring presence during what can be a stressful time.
Nicola Hobson, Conveyancing Executive in our Durham office, began her journey with BHP Law in 2015. Her progression from Secretary to Conveyancing Executive reflects her commitment and growing expertise. Nicola is known for her reliability and attention to detail, making her a trusted adviser for clients navigating property transactions.
Lorna Turnbull, also based in Durham, brings a wealth of experience in both residential and commercial conveyancing. Having previously worked with BHP Law as a Conveyancing Executive, Lorna re-joined the firm in 2019 and has since become a key member of the team, valued for her efficiency and client-focused service.
Libby Pincher, our newest recruit in the Darlington office. With a background in legal administration and a strong emphasis on client care, Libby is currently undertaking advanced qualifications in Property Law. Her dedication to making the process smooth and stress-free is already making a positive impact.
Fiona Addison, based in Tynemouth, has a rich and varied legal background spanning the UK and USA. Her experience in private client work and planning law adds depth to her conveyancing practice. Fiona’s approachable nature and legal acumen make her a favourite among clients seeking clarity and reassurance.
Lucy Burgess, Apprentice Solicitor in Darlington, is gaining hands-on experience while studying law at Northumbria University. Her work across departments has equipped her with a broad understanding of client needs. Now in the Residential Conveyancing team, Lucy is eager to support clients through the home-buying journey with empathy and professionalism.
