BHP Law is delighted to announce the promotion of two exceptional Senior Associates, Alex Clancy and Claire Horowitz, to the role of Partner. This milestone demonstrates the firm's commitment to recognising and rewarding outstanding talent within its team.
Alex Clancy, who joined BHP Law in February 2023, has played a pivotal role in expanding the firm’s public law practice within the family law team across the region. Her promotion to Partner acknowledges her invaluable contributions and dedication to supporting children and families in need.
A graduate of Teesside University in 2004, Alex embarked on a distinguished career in family law, gaining extensive experience in public law proceedings. In 2013, she achieved the prestigious Children Panel Accreditation Scheme, cementing her expertise in representing children and families in complex public law cases.
Claire Horowitz brings over 16 years of experience in Wills, Trusts, and Probate, having qualified in 2008. She specialises in all areas of Private Client work, including Estate Administration, Estate Planning, Wills, Trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Renowned for her compassionate and practical approach, Claire provides bespoke guidance to clients navigating complex estate matters.
Claire is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT), demonstrating her commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards. Her promotion to Partner is a testament to her exceptional expertise and client-focused service.
