Rachel is a highly skilled litigator with over 16 years of experience in Dispute Resolution.
She earned her LLB Law degree from Teesside University and completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, York. Rachel qualified as a solicitor in 2011 with a reputable local firm. She joined BHP Law in 2022 and was promoted to Associate in 2024 and Senior Associate in 2025, reflecting her dedication and expertise.

Rachel provides comprehensive advice on all aspects of civil litigation, representing both individuals and commercial clients across a wide range of matters, including:

• Property litigation: Adverse possession claims, nuisance, boundary disputes, right of way and right to light disputes, party wall disputes, dilapidation claims, and commercial and residential property litigation. She acts for both commercial landlords and tenants in lease disputes, possession, and forfeiture actions, as well as right to buy and right to manage claims.
• Professional negligence and contract disputes: Handling matters such as contract interpretation, breach of contract claims, debt recovery, and consumer disputes.
• Contentious probate: Assisting clients with contested wills, Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act claims, and executor misconduct actions.

Rachel also specialises in commercial litigation, representing a diverse range of SMEs and commercial clients in partnership and shareholder disputes, breaches of directors’ duties, and wrongful trading claims. Rachel also receives instructions from other law firms and liquidators.

A strong advocate for her clients, Rachel guides them through court proceedings, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution processes, providing tailored support to achieve the best possible outcomes.
