Rachel is an Associate Solicitor specialising in both the Court of Protection (Health and Welfare) and Mental Health law. She holds outstanding academic credentials, including a Master’s degree in Law.
Since joining the Court of Protection team in 2024, Rachel has managed a range of complex cases involving multiple parties and cross-jurisdictional issues, demonstrating her analytical skill and strategic approach.
Rachel completed her training at The Richmond Partnership in Durham, where she remained for six years before moving to Peter Dunn & Co in Sunderland. Prior to joining the firm, she obtained Mental Health Panel Accreditation, enabling her to represent detained patients in appeals before the Mental Health Tribunal.
With a background as a high street solicitor, Rachel brings valuable experience in Civil Litigation, with particular expertise in Landlord and Tenant disputes and Employment Law. She continues to support the firm’s Disputes and Employment departments, regularly assisting with hearings and settlement agreements.
