Megan joined BHP Law as a Solicitor Apprentice in 2022, following the completion of her A-levels. She is currently studying towards her Law degree at Northumbria University as part of her apprenticeship.
In her first year, Megan gained experience within the Wills, Trusts & Probate team, where she assisted with a range of private client matters, including drafting wills, preparing lasting powers of attorney, and overseeing will signings.
During her second and third years, Megan worked in the Court of Protection (Health & Welfare) department. Her role involved preparing cases for court hearings and advocating for individuals assessed as lacking capacity to make decisions about their care and support. She also developed knowledge of Mental Health law, supporting with tribunals and hospital managers’ meetings.
As she enters her fourth year, Megan is now working with the Family team, where she will be assisting with both public and private law matters.
