After an initial career in merchant banking, Dermot subsequently took articles at a corporate boutique in Manchester (Turner Parkinson), after which followed several years at national firm Freeths.
Dermot joined BHP Law in 2019 to head up the firm's Corporate and Commercial department.
Dermot has also lectured in corporate and commercial law at BPP University and is a former contributor to the World Bank ‘Doing Business’ annual report.
