Amanda has worked in the North Eastern Circuit since qualifying as a solicitor. She trained and worked with two law firms in Darlington before moving to BHP Law in 2018 where she deals predominantly with private law matters, including divorce, finance, separation, pre and post nuptial agreements and private law children matters.
Amanda is a keen advocate and represents clients at court in most proceedings.
Career highlights include gaining Higher Rights and becoming Resolution Accredited in addition to working with the Law Society.
Qualifications: LLB Law (Hons), PGDip, LLM, Higher Rights of Audience (Civil Proceedings), Resolution Specialist Accreditation (Advocacy Financial Remedy Proceedings and Advocacy Private Law Children)

Charitable/pro bono work: Amanda undertakes a lot of mentoring to support aspiring lawyers. This initiative is supported by the firm where she hosts a monthly mentoring session and also attends schools and universities to talk about a career in the law.
