We are currently seeking to appoint to the following positions: 

Corporate and Commercial Fee Earner

BHP is a long established  law firm looking to expand in corporate and commercial work.  There is a fantastic opportunity to join our corporate and commercial team at our Darlington office, with future development in our other key areas of Newcastle, Durham and Teesside.

We are seeking to appoint a 3-5 PQE solicitor or fee earner with equivalent experience. A following is desirable, but not essential.  The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be comfortable meeting clients and professionals of all levels and be a real team player.

The team currently deals with a range of work across differing sectors, dealing with transactions, commercial agreements, joint ventures, finance, IP & IT and various business related matters.

Family & Crime Secretary - Full Time - Darlington Office 

This is a permanent position. 

The successful candidate will provide a client focused and professional administrative support within the Family & Crime team. Duties will include; audio typing, orderly maintenance of files, dealing proactively, effectively and pleasantly with clients, diary management and general administration.

As the successful candidate you will have significant experience of providing secretarial support within a busy team.  Audio typing skills and a high level of accuracy are essential. The successful candidate will also be a fully competent user of Microsoft office and preferably have relevant secretarial qualifications.  Family & Crime experience is desirable but not essential.  You will also have excellent organisational skills and be able to work to deadlines. Ideally you will have the ability to utilise a case management system however full training will be given.
