IT Technician - Darlington office - Full Time 

We are looking to recruit a full time IT Technician to help in the day to day running of our IT systems, in our offices, across the North East.  We are also introducing a new Case Management system which is due to go live later this year.

The role includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks: -

  • Front line IT support on a day to day basis with additional specialist support from external suppliers;

  • Network administration;

  • Internal systems management, maintenance and development;

  • Software installation/configuration;

  • Training for staff members;

  • Hardware maintenance and liaison with external suppliers;

  • Update the company’s intranet/website;

  • Liaising with third parties regarding services that are outsourced;

  • Setting up new user accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues;

  • PAT Testing.

The ideal candidate for this role will have: -

•        A full driving licence and access to own vehicle

•        A recognised IT Qualification;

•        Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

•        Good organisational skills;

•        Self-motivation;

•        Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritise workload;

•        Excellent people skills.
