The Darlington Town Mission is a charitable organisation which was founded in Darlington in 1838.  Its principal aims are to tackle loneliness and isolation in the local community, by providing companionship and practical help to the elderly.

Almost 200 years after its formation, the Mission continues its good work in and around Darlington offering support and assistance to those who need it, regardless of colour, creed or race.

Staffed mainly by volunteers and funded by generous donations from kind benefactors, the Mission carries out visits to the elderly and the lonely, organises social events and trips, and provides community support and reassurance throughout the Darlington area.

BHP Law, a leading and long-established North East law firm are delighted to help the Mission in their endeavours and are proud to be associated with their good work.
